    Jacky Tung

    President

     

    Jacky is a senior from Hong Kong in the School of Hotel Administration minoring in real estate. He joined CUABS in Fall '16 and served as Outreach Chair in the academic year of 2017-2018. Outside of CUABS, he previously served as VP of Marketing for AIESEC and VP of New Member Education for Cornell Impact Investing. His work experience includes Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs, a global investment bank, and Strategic Consulting at Cushman & Wakefield, a real estate services provider.     Eri Kato

    Vice President of Internal Affairs

     

    Eri is a junior from Tokyo, Japan, majoring in Hotel Administration and minoring in Real Estate while concentrating in Law. She currently serves as the Vice President of Public Relations at Kappa Alpha Pi Pre-Law Fraternity, a board member of the Hotel School Dean’s Student Advisory Board, and is the Publicity Manager of After Eight A Cappella. This past summer, she worked as a summer analyst at Jones Lang Lasalle, a real estate investment management firm. In her free time, Eri loves going on wine tours and showering her littles with gifts and love.     Jacinta Chang

    Vice President of Professional Affairs

     

    Jacinta is a junior majoring in Hotel Administration with an intended minor in Fashion Studies. Outside of CUABS, she serves as an Associate for Cornell Consulting, a Hotel School Ambassador, and a Teaching Assistant, and is also involved in the SC Johnson College of Business Office of Admissions. She spent this past summer as a Transaction Advisory Services Intern at EY in the Operational Transaction Services practice. Previously, she spent a summer in Dubai as a Business Excellence and Guest Services Intern at the Burj Al Arab. In her spare time, she enjoys following travel and fashion blogs, reading up on horoscopes, and browsing the websites of 5-star hotels she can’t yet afford. For Jacinta, CUABS has provided her with a family from the very beginning of her Cornell experience, and she is incredibly grateful to be surrounded by people who inspire her every day.     Michael Baldyga

    Vice President of Development

     

    Michael is a senior from Guam pursuing a major in Hotel Administration, minor in Real Estate, and concentration in Law. On campus, he is the President of the Cornell Hotel Society - Collegiate Chapter, a member of the International Students Union, a member of the Class of 2019 Convocation Committee, a member of Llenroc, and a Teaching Assistant for Hospitality Facilities Management and Personal Financial Management. This past summer, he worked at TripAdvisor as a B2B Hotel Marketing Data Analytics Intern, and has further professional experiences working at the U.S. House of Representatives, Grand Hyatt Singapore, and Gerson Lehrman Group. In his free time, he enjoys piano, chess, and Saigon Kitchen. What Michael loves most about CUABS is the close-knit family and support group that it always provides for everyone.     Yvonne Yang

    Co-Marketing Chair

     

    Yvonne is a sophomore from Cupertino, California, and has spent years living in Taiwan and the Netherlands. She is majoring in Civil Engineering and minoring in Business. On campus, she serves as Business Lead for Cornell Steel Bridge project team and VP of Marketing for AIESEC, She is also a member of Cornell Club of Taiwan, an intern at the Asian & Asian American Center, and a library assistant at the Digital Media Group in Olin Library. This past summer, she worked at Supermicro in the Shipping department and took 3 online classes. In her free time, she enjoys drinking boba, reading about materials, graphic designing, and singing at the karaoke. To her, the best of CUABS is all the hardworking individuals and mentors.     Davis Zhu

    Co-Marketing Chair

     

    Davis is a junior from Vancouver majoring in Architecture and pursuing a minor in Real Estate. On campus, he is the Class of '21 Representative in AAP Student Committee, a Guest Lecturer Ambassador, and the Co-President of Dragon Day. This past summer, he worked as a Design Analyst at Kohn Pederson Fox Associates, an architectural design firm. In his free time, Davis enjoys recreating Michelin restaurant experience in his own kitchen, finessing over wine glass shapes, and looking at watches he’ll afford in his 50s.     Cindy Zhang

    Co-Alumni Chair

     

    Cindy is a senior from Shanghai, China, majoring in Information Science. She is passionate about entrepreneurship and specifically creating products that can make a positive impact for a larger community. Her professional experiences include interning for Co-Stone Asset Management Co.,Ltd, and Funding Societies- Southeast Asia’s leading fintech startup.     Sam Kwee

    Co-Alumni Chair

     

    Sam is a Sophomore majoring in Applied Economics and Management. On campus, he is a Teaching Assistant in the Dyson school, a member of Cornell University Sustainable Design, a member of Cru, and a brother of a social fraternity. This past summer, he worked part-time at a Real Estate firm, read 10 books, and spent 2 weeks in Thailand. Next summer, he hopes to enjoy his sleep by not going into Investment Banking. In his free time, he enjoys reading up about personal development, speaking Singlish, and pretending to be a professional photographer with his iPhone.     Kanaai Shah

    Finance & Administration Chair

     

    Kanaai is a junior from Saratoga, California majoring in Hotel Administration with a minor in Real Estate. On campus, he is a member of Cornell Bhangra and the Student Activities Funding Commission, a Rawlings Research Scholar, and on the Executive Board of Ye Hosts Honorary Society. This past summer, he interned in Business Analytics at Hilton, and for the upcoming summer, Kanaai will be interning for Blackstone’s Real Estate Asset Management group. Outside of school, he loves to explore the outdoors on hikes and read introspective books. The best part about CUABS to him is the ability for any individual to find inspiration and mentorship – whether professional or personal – in a family-oriented environment.     Averill Wong

    Co-Outreach Chair

     

    Averill is a sophomore majoring in Policy Analysis and Management and pursuing a minor in Business. Outside of CUABS, she is an intern at the Asian & Asian American Center and an associate in Cornell Consulting. This past summer, she interned with the non-profit, Bella Abzug Leadership Institute, mentoring and empowering young girls to lead the future. You can find her laying on the slope, discovering tasty food, and finding chill study beats on Soundcloud during her downtime. To her, CUABS has become a family away from home, whose members motivate and inspire her every day to become a more passionate, nurturing leader and to strive for all professional and personal goals.     Richard Cho

    Co-Outreach Chair

     

    Richard is a sophomore from California majoring in Information Science with an intended minor in Business Administration and Law and Society. Outside of CUABS, he serves as the VP of External Affairs for Big Red Ambassadors. Professionally, he worked in marketing at a tech startup in Hong Kong in the summer of 2018. His hobbies include playing golf, singing in the shower, dancing awkwardly to good music, going on photo shoots, and having a good time with new and old friends.     Ernest Bethe IV

    Co-Social Chair

     

    Ernest is a sophomore majoring in Nutritional Science, with minors in Global Health and Soil Science. Besides CUABS, he works as an administrative assistant at Office of Nutrition Management, and as a guide for Outdoor Odyssey. Ernest spent the past summer working in the Chronic Care/Diabetes Prevention department of Norton Sound Health Corporation in Nome, Alaska and is currently looking at agricultural expansion projects in Bangladesh for next summer. In his free time, he likes working out, reading, and talking about film! To him, the best part of CUABS is the people! Everyone always looks out for each other and is down to help out whenever!     Eric An

    Co-Social Chair

     

    Hailing from the beautiful city of Vancouver, Canada, Eric is a junior currently studying Hotel Administration and intends to pursue a minor in real estate. On campus, he is also a commissioner for the Student Activities Funding Commission, a member of a social fraternity, and a teaching assistant for classes in the Hotel School. This past summer, Eric worked as a Business Development Intern at FreshUp, a start-up based in Hong Kong, and intends to pursue a career in finance. In his free time, Eric likes to watch the Edmonton Oilers, listen to interesting podcasts, and finding new places to eat.
